Terms of Service

You must have the legal capacity to enter into an agreement in your jurisdiction. If you are under the age required to enter into contracts where you live, a parent or legal guardian must authorize your use.

The Guitar Plugged Premium provides access to paid features and content, which may include ToneMD, Premium articles, tools, community features, and other subscriber benefits.

Subscription features may be added, changed, improved, or discontinued as the service develops.

Payments for The Guitar Plugged Premium are processed by Stripe.

For eligible transactions, Stripe acts as the Merchant of Record and authorized reseller for purchases made through Stripe Checkout. In those cases the payment transaction is between the customer and Stripe, and Stripe is responsible for processing payment, applicable sales taxes/VAT, receipts, billing administration, refunds processed through Stripe, chargebacks, and related payment obligations, including transaction-level customer service inquiries. Where Stripe does not act as Merchant of Record, The Guitar Plugged is the seller of record for the transaction. See Stripe's consumer terms.

The Guitar Plugged remains the supplier/operator of the digital service and is responsible for providing access to Premium features.

Subscriptions automatically renew at the applicable monthly or annual price unless canceled before renewal.

Users may manage or cancel their subscription from their The Guitar Plugged billing page or through the Stripe billing portal linked there.

ToneMD provides guitar-tone recommendations based on user-selected equipment and requested sounds.

ToneMD results are recommendations and approximations. Exact tone reproduction cannot be guaranteed because results depend on equipment, pickups, speakers, amplification, playing technique, recording environment, firmware, signal chain, settings, and other factors outside our control.

ToneMD should not be interpreted as an official preset or endorsement from any guitarist, manufacturer, band, artist, or equipment company unless explicitly stated.

Users are responsible for keeping account credentials secure and for activity occurring through their account.

Premium access may not be resold, shared commercially, copied, scraped, redistributed, or used to create a competing database or service.

The Guitar Plugged branding, ToneMD branding, website design, original written content, proprietary tools, databases, graphics, and other original materials are owned by or licensed to The Guitar Plugged unless otherwise indicated.

References to musicians, bands, songs, albums, equipment manufacturers, trademarks, and products are used for identification, commentary, editorial, informational, and tone-recreation purposes. Their respective trademarks and intellectual property remain the property of their owners.

Users may not attempt to interfere with the website, bypass Premium restrictions, gain unauthorized access, scrape protected content, misuse accounts, reverse engineer proprietary functionality where prohibited, or use the service for unlawful purposes, including fraud, spam, infringement of intellectual property, or distribution of malware.

We may suspend or terminate access to the website, an account, or Premium features in cases of material breach of these Terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations.

We aim to keep The Guitar Plugged and ToneMD available but cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.

Features may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, updates, third-party outages, technical issues, or circumstances outside our control.

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy and are processed through Stripe where applicable.

Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer rights you may have under applicable law.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, The Guitar Plugged will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar damages arising from use of or inability to use the service.

The service is provided on an “as available” basis except where applicable law requires otherwise.

We may update these Terms as our services, features, or legal requirements change. The current version and effective date will always be displayed on this page.
